Why the herbicide–biostimulant combo is ideal for maize
Over the next few weeks, contractors and growers will be out in force to treat young maize with herbicides. That makes this the ideal moment to add Aphasol to the tank mix.
What is Aphasol?
Aphasol is a liquid biostimulant based on amino acids and peptides (circular origin). It helps soften the herbicide-induced stress response, improves nutrient uptake and use efficiency, and strengthens the plant against abiotic stress such as drought, heat and temporary nitrogen shortages.
Field results show:
Improved tolerance to herbicide-related phytotoxic effects
Statistically significant increases in above-ground biomass
Higher chlorophyll values (stronger canopy)
Application in maize:
3 L/ha at the 4–6 leaf stage, together with the herbicide spray
